Guidance from the United Kingdom: FCA Issues Letters for Asset Managers

If your advisory firm does business across the pond, it needs to pay attention. The United Kingdom’s Financial Conduct Authority recently issued supervision guidance letters – one for “asset managers” and the other for “alternative funds” – that highlight what the FCA will be focusing on in the months ahead. United States-based firms doing business in Great Britain or with offices there should pay attention.
